What it does

Not a screenshot tool.
You edit the page itself.

LiveHTML works with the real DOM and freezes the current result when you export. Clean output is the default; switch to re-editable output so recipients can continue without installing the extension.

01

Edit content

Double-click to edit text, link labels, destinations, and opening behavior. Paste an image URL or embed a local image file.

02

Adjust layout

Drag elements directly. Corner resizing keeps the opposite anchor fixed, and rotation supports Shift-based 15° snapping.

03

Build modules

Insert headings, paragraphs, buttons, images, cards, and sections, with duplication and layer ordering.

04

Undo safely

Full undo and redo, reminders before leaving with unexported changes, and accurate save-failure reporting.

Three steps

From opening a page
to sharing the result.

  1. 1

    Open any webpage

Click the extension icon or press Alt + Shift + E. The extension receives temporary access only to the current tab.

  2. 2

    Edit directly on the page

Click to select, double-click to edit text, drag elements or blue handles, and use Properties for precise adjustments.

  3. 3

    Choose a mode and export

Choose Clean output or Re-editable, then name the file in the system save dialog. Export freezes the current DOM and removes original scripts that could overwrite your edits.

Privacy by design

Your webpage
stays on your device.

LiveHTML does not upload webpage content, edits, or browsing activity. It has no account, ads, analytics tracking, or remotely hosted code. All processing happens in the current tab selected by the user.

Clear boundaries

Clear boundaries.

Chrome settings pages, extension pages, and the Chrome Web Store are protected and cannot be edited. Cross-origin iframes, closed Shadow DOM, objects inside Canvas, and pages that depend on login or server data cannot be guaranteed as complete offline copies. LiveHTML prioritizes preserving the currently visible DOM and your edits.
