What it does
LiveHTML works with the real DOM and freezes the current result when you export. Clean output is the default; switch to re-editable output so recipients can continue without installing the extension.
Double-click to edit text, link labels, destinations, and opening behavior. Paste an image URL or embed a local image file.
Drag elements directly. Corner resizing keeps the opposite anchor fixed, and rotation supports Shift-based 15° snapping.
Insert headings, paragraphs, buttons, images, cards, and sections, with duplication and layer ordering.
Full undo and redo, reminders before leaving with unexported changes, and accurate save-failure reporting.
Three steps
Click the extension icon or press Alt + Shift + E. The extension receives temporary access only to the current tab.
Click to select, double-click to edit text, drag elements or blue handles, and use Properties for precise adjustments.
Choose Clean output or Re-editable, then name the file in the system save dialog. Export freezes the current DOM and removes original scripts that could overwrite your edits.
Privacy by design
LiveHTML does not upload webpage content, edits, or browsing activity. It has no account, ads, analytics tracking, or remotely hosted code. All processing happens in the current tab selected by the user.
