LiveHTML Privacy Policy

Effective date: August 1, 2026

Summary: LiveHTML processes webpage content only in the current tab on the user's device after the user actively invokes the extension. It does not collect webpage content or personal data on developer servers, and it does not upload, sell, or share that content. The extension has no accounts, advertising, telemetry, or analytics tracking.

Data LiveHTML Processes

To provide its single purpose of editing the current webpage directly, LiveHTML reads and modifies HTML elements, text, link destinations, image sources, and styles selected by the user in the active tab after the user invokes the extension. Users may also actively select a local image file and convert it into embedded data for the current page. This information may include website content or user-generated content.

How Data Is Used and Stored

Permissions

LiveHTML does not request access to browsing history, cookies, download management, the clipboard, or persistent host access to all websites.

Data Sharing and Retention

LiveHTML does not share data with third parties. Although it temporarily processes the current webpage on the user's device, that data is not collected by or transmitted to developer servers, so the developer retains no user data records. Exported HTML files are managed and deleted solely by the user.

Children's Privacy and Policy Changes

LiveHTML is not designed to collect personal information from children. If its data practices materially change, this policy and the in-extension disclosure will be updated before the new version is released.

Chrome Web Store Limited Use

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
